Excellent build of one of my favorite cars.👍 When you're painting, you should wear a glove - after this project you probably had a Smurf hand.😀

Awesome work as usual Martin with another sensational result. It's really good to see a car being built and the finish you achived was excellent. I'm also enjoying the many different mixes of your music and am curious how many more are to come 😀 Just curious, why dont you use gloves more often? Your thumb had an excellent shine at one point lol 😄 Keep the builds coming my friend!

Awesome build once more Martin. I haven't really tried building cars yet and i will try one soon. Do you happen to use Alclad Gloss to coat the paint or at least Future to make it shiny? I've seen a few car builds here on youtube and some use the real car spray paint clear gloss too. Cheers.

What were you doing when you got some paste and started rubbing it with a small red paper thing?
@julkitan30179 жыл бұрын
great work! glad i subscribed, although i'm more into planes, this was really interesting built process, specially the polishing technique. Did you polish the plastic-glass (windshield) parts too with the closs and compound? to get them so perfectly smooth and shinny?
@carlostejada91837 жыл бұрын
here's a little hint or smart technique to help you in future projects. TAKE A SMALL SPRAY CAN WITH THE CAP STILL ON...THEN TAKE DOUBLE SIDED TAPE AND PUT IT ON THE CAP...THEN PROCEED TO THE MODEL OF THE CAR AND THE INSIDE ROOF OF THE CAR. that will help you maneuver and handle the model while you painting it and won't get your hands dirty.
@NitroModelsAndComics6 жыл бұрын
I truly respect your work David. Your warbirds and military are truly fantastic. This and your other cars are also extremely nice builds. I do want to challenge you a bit if I may. The kits you have chosen are largely shake and bake kits. They go together rather nicely with little fanfare and lend themselves very well to your clean building style. I would like you to build something a bit older and actually would enjoy watching you build an AMT Round 2 release of an old kit. It could be a dragster or muscle car or even a show car. I know you have the skills that is not the question. I want to see what you can make of one. They are far more challenging than these Japanese kits that is a certainty. It would be fun to see what you can do with a kit that was designed when the 70's were still a young decade. I'll gladly send you one if you accept.

The black in the wheel wells- do you dilute that with some thinner? It goes on so smooth. Whenever I apply black, I can see the brush strokes and it globbs up.

Hi, I would just like to say, that you have done a excellent job on the Subaru, the finish looked outstanding, my only concern is with the health aspect of your painting. I thought it would have been wise to wear some type of gloves while painting. I'm not trying to tell you what to do, but concerned for the health of all model builders. Les
@marcelofloripa266 жыл бұрын
yeah these lacquer paints can give you cancer. . In the past I was not concerned about this and I had massive headaches after paint sessions. Highly recommend gloves, mask and spray booth
