fun times! I live in black bear country so food ( mostly trash) are normal protocols. keeping visitors / air b&b'ers is the trick. watch the rubber-necking! I'd find it hard in certain areas for sure.

Black bears in the US learned so many tricks to get into human food / trash - I bet it’s challenging for people not familiar with protocols to get used to it. We don’t have such in Europe, so I also had to learn all of it along the way.

Hello Asia, I was happy to see that you have a genuine concern for the safety of the bears and yourself, of course. Unfortunately and very sadly, humans are most often their greatest enemy. The bears suffer for human negligence and selfishness. I lived in black bear country for many years and I loved to see them. A little common sense allows us the opportunity to share their beautiful space. Stay safe, stay happy. Do widzenia!

I totally agree with every sentence you wrote! Based on my experience with bears I can also say that they don’t want to hurt us. It’s the common sense that is the key to sharing beautiful places with them. Have a lovely day ✨

I struggle with camping in bear country. I realized that so many people lack common decency. It’s refreshing to hear your point about this matter. 😊

I really think it’s a matter of getting used to camping in bear country. From my experience I can say that it took me a few days to getting used to it, and than it just becomes a habit. So I would give it a try if I were you! ;)

Oh the car organization is key. I’m looking at your build and wishing I had pulled out the rear seats… You have so much storage. And this is a good reminder to pick up bear spray before I leave.

Pulling out the rear seats really makes a difference - all my clothes fit in that little cubby. Maybe you can still do it? Safe travels!

I’ve been approaching cleaning and organising my car all wrong! You just need to put some soothing guitar music on in the background. You looked very happy with an organised car! You have done a lot of driving! Enjoy your trip

Haha, yes, it made me so happy to have my car organized - it really is frustrating and difficult to find things when they fly around in the car and are not where they are suppossed to be :)

Hi Asha. Beautiful camp site. Yes a well organized vehicle is essential in such a small space. You are very bear aware and that's good. Do you have bear spray? Is it legal ,and if it is clip it onto a belt that you are wearing, They are very fast.. Loooking forward to your next posting, Press on young lady,
@ashaslaw4 ай бұрын
Yes, bear spray is legal in Montana, and I would encourage everyone who plans to visit bear country to get one (and know how to use it!).

Do you have a portable tire inflator btw? aired down my subby to around 25psi for really rocky roads when camping, having a tiny compressor to get them back up for highways is a must
