How do they justify no aircon vents in the rear that too for Australian Summer !!!
@clarawoodland107511 ай бұрын
Test drove this a few weeks back and although I loved driving it and thought the 360 camera and other tech was quality, the deal breaker for me was that there are no rear vents (a must in Australia) and no front sensors.

The hybrid doesn’t have a spare wheel which is absolutely necessary in Australia. How often does the tyre repair kit need to be replaced?
@carsguide3 ай бұрын
All tyre repair kits have a shelf life, but the replacement date will vary depending on the manufacturer of the kit. Check the kit itself for advice on when to replace it. This is usually at the expense of the vehicle's owner.

Best quote ever. You're sitting in the car, not on the car. Most SUVs are horrible to drive. You're sitting on them.

Air vents are underneath the front seats. Aging power train ? If it works well, don’t change it. Good review

3:10 The mismatched horizontal and vertical air vents really bugs me. Just doesn't look balanced.

No rear air vents is madness.
@VyNguyen-wy3ovАй бұрын
I don’t have passengers sitting at the back so rear vents won’t be an issue I guess. I had myXVA for 4 years. No complain . Fit my needs.

12.6/100K's?..that's almost VF Commodore V8 territory.

I drive 2018 XV 2.0 and have average of 7.3 to 7.5L in town. It seems this guy has been rough on the car.

Also seemed strange to me.

Bring the 2.5L to Australia!

CVT is the enemy of this car, add in the small boot too.

Next year I believe we are getting 2.5 litres in Subaru Crosstrek and new Impreza in 2025.

12.6 per 100km... Are you sure that's correct??? If so, that is terrible fuel economy!
@stonemarten14009 ай бұрын
I think it’s a good car for the countryman or woman who doesn’t need a big boot. Will make it up the gravel tracks, sure footed and reliable, but not too exciting.
@fragu1239 ай бұрын
I test drove it extensively and wouldn’t know how to get fuel consumption above 10ltr per 100km… 😂 I have been between 6.5 and 8.0ltr in mixed driving conditions…
@pamelawinfield92113 ай бұрын
Damn I just ordered one.
@pamelawinfield92113 ай бұрын
Thanks, that is a worry. Regular replacement of anything unused is pure waste. So disappointing
@mciantar19992 ай бұрын
This would be so good with a 2.5 litre engine and a manual gearbox.
@edmunekАй бұрын
why would you call this SUV I have absolutely no idea. a slightly bigger crossover is max what you can tell about this car
@mauritsvw20 күн бұрын
Or even just a hatchback.

12.5 lt/ 100 doesn't sound right at all. I consistently average around 8.

he must have flogged the bejeezus out of it. Underpowered 4 will do that

Yeah I would have been nice for an explanation about that

Aging power train? It is pretty much a completely new 2.0 engine, and other than capacity is very different to earlier 2.0
@Dyonas07Ай бұрын
Not an honest review. Say it. The engine is gutless. I owned an XV and they’re the same engine. At best, it’s comfortable, reliable but gutless
@JJ-wi2uw11 ай бұрын
12.6L per 100klms? ..... because you have to thrash this underpowered thing to get anywhere?
@rsmnh789211 ай бұрын
Not realistic at all. I drive 2018 2.0 and average a maximum of 7.5 L in town. I don't how he got 12 L
@phunk860711 ай бұрын
Everyone call it as Crosstrek anyway so XV is not fondly remembered hate that name. As a small 'SUV' this is real AWD and again proper Subaru engineer so well worth the premium.
@maxregal888911 ай бұрын
A car no older Subaru enthusiast could love. Two litre engine and CVT. At least it’s got all the safety tech so people who shouldn’t be driving can continue to drive with their heads up their arses.

Sounds like a paid promotion. Missing further reference to the elephant in the room! 12.6 litres/100 km - give me a break 😂
@chikchikboom110 ай бұрын
They typically use around 7.5L/100km. He’s flogging it pretty hard if he’s getting 12.6.
