So I was extremely skeptical of this working. But it did. I don’t understand why or how it fixed it. But it did. I got a two inch lift and was hearing a rattle noise with lots of vibration. After installing this and the carrier spacers, fixed it completely

I have Outback Wilderness and before I bought I had them put it up on the rack so I could check out the undercarriage. IT DOES HAVE THE ANTI WOBBLE FACTORY INSTALLED

Thanks for the content. I just installed this yesterday on my 18' FXT... I took out the 3 bolts on each side on that first plate and one bolt of three in the center... I bent the heat shield down a little to get my big hands in, lubed the rubber and popped that baby in. Took some effort but it popped in good. Alot less work but definitely wouldn't have tried it without your video so thanks again

Hello great post thank you. Which model of the insert did you use, the 60d softer version or the 85d 'stiffer' version, please? TIA.

+1 for taking the car to the next level. It's things like this that will hopefully wake up the manufacturer and they will start/include with better parts from the get go. Even non-enthusiasts can use less wobble. Even WRX's trans mount is too soft and it kills all shifter feel. Yes, less NVH, but no feel. Which is why I bought a group-n mount.

THANK YOU EXCELLENT VIDEO!! QUESTION, please? You happy with the 60d {Daily Driver} model or wish you'd gotten the 'stiffer version'? TIA. Which way is the block installed? The opening is toward the front of the car or the rear please? TIA.

Anyone know if this will fix the wobble from a new CV axle? Had a local shop replace my axe on the drivers side a few months ago and I've had a wobble when accelerating every since. Not sure if I should try this fix, or replace the CV axle with an OEM version, or just get a new transmission mount.

With all due respect , anti seize isn't a lubricant or grease . Its purpose is in its name , To not seize a long term bolt . It would have been easier if you used bearing grease or a synthetic grease ...

2010 OUTBACK 2.5 4-CYLIINDER HERE w/165K miles: When cold, our car is "jumping around" so much when idling that we need to put the transmission in neutral. The car is always maintained as recommended "by the book." When the car warms up, the problem disappears. Is this a reported problem, and if so, what will be the solution?

No because I didn't feel a substantial enough difference to merit a follow up tbh

All i had to do was drop one side of the heat shield so not to slice my wrists on the edges.. Other then that; greased up the rubber edges on the insert and popped it in. No problem.

I do wonder which direction the insert enters. It seemed fairly easy to pop in there and I’m curious if you could have done that without remove it as you had considered.
@TheHumanCarJack3 жыл бұрын
I probably could've but just removing the 4 screws made it pretty easy

I have an 2014 Forester that vibrates at about 20 - 30 mph. How do I know if it’s the engine mounts or the transmission mount?
@TheHumanCarJack2 жыл бұрын
Put it in S# and see if the vibration happens only during "gear shifts"
