I like the ability to go from camping rig to passenger rig. I have kids and have been holding off on that part of the build so I don’t loose my rear seats

Solid interior build man! great idea utilizing the spare tire mount to fasten down interior. maybe add some foam inserts like how you have on top to the bottom of the wood legs that touch the metal of the car. that way the friction doesnt erode the interior paint. Less things to end up rusting.

Nice setup. One thing I would suggest is putting a cover over your spare. The sun will dry rot that thing! Love the build though

That’s a great point! Eventually I want to mount it on the hitch... arrow dynamics lol. But until then. The roof works! New adventures are coming. The new job has been a rough transition...

This is the best flat build I've seen for a forester, I see the back seat folds strait down, was that the same way stock or did you have to adjust anything make it completely flat?

There is about a 4 inch difference. Had to build the platform up that far so the board would lay flat. Also makes room for drawers
