If only Mitsubishi did not stop the production of the Lancer Evolution but just made a hatchback version of the Evolution, the fanboys from Subaru Impreza and Evo would have continued to be in competition with each other.

I personally see 0 reasons to switch to a 4th gen coming from a 3rd gen base hatchback. 0 new additions, road noise still present and the 3rd gen looks better imo. Which is all fine.

I have a 2015 model. It has used NO oil in 12 months and I push the engine now and then, thats how boxers like to be used. Great car.

it's just a standard vehicle, Mike....i.d rather add more money and go buy SUBARU OUTBACK 2013-2014...Which is even more practical with lots of features to go with....not forgetting reliability...

Im looking at one at the dealer.. $11,900 for a 2012 Sport Premium, Manual, 121k miles.. is that one of the years with the 'bad' engines..??

Nope! I was skeptical myself but I have a 2013 base hatch and it’s been great. It has a fb20 engine.

i got a 15 40k miles for 12k small accident with a scrap around the fender apparently they are super reliable cars

@@MikePlacer I have a 2015 model, had it a year. Superb workhorse. Quiet and comfortable and loaded with goodies as standard. Heated seats, electric folding mirrors, reversing camera, DAB, cruise, cant argue with that.
