Subaru Impreza STI - ACT Extreme Organic clutch - Review (Extreme 598 lb/ft)

HI 18 mths down the line, how is this clutch holding out, just trying to find some information regarding these ACT clutches, i have a blob eye, approx 450/400 torque, my pink box exedy not cutting any launches at all LOL just wondered long tern how this is holding out, have you done any big launches ? My LC is set to 5k RPM :)

Yeah its still going good, you can see my latest ASMR driving videos and thats still the same clutch and mine has above 450 torque. Im really happy with it, when I did the clutch I did new throwout bearing and clutch fork, they were standard Subaru items as I heard they were best. I got the clutch fitted and through Thwaites Development Racing. Yeah I launch it all the time and drive hard, but I don't use a mapped launch control if that makes sense, and I do look after it. I went through the pink box like it was nothing, anything over 350 and they are just pointless in my opinion. If you speak to TDR they will get you the same clutch as me no problem and was the same price as on the web (there are slightly different versions from what I found at the time)

@@renitententity2086 Thankyou dude for the response, looks like i may be going this route next year tbh, when the drag season starts back up, pretty pointless currently as the roads will be wet or cold most of the time.
