In this video I take you onboard in a 400+ horsepower 1998 Subaru Impreza WRX STi GC8 around Varano de Melegari circuit. The car is fitted with an external wastegate screamer pipe which makes it sounds absolutely INSANE from the inside!

Not sure but I would assume he was getting himself set so that if the car started to understeer as AWD cars tend to do he could instantly react and clutch kick it to kick the back end out like he does at 2:57 . Although I may be completely wrong 🤷.

Porsche is probably stock. Subaru isn't. If you upgrade the Porsche, it'll be faster. This applies to any car.

I think when the motor is hot, the power is not the same, cold more powerfull at acceleration, and hot less powerfull. I see it on the video, maybe i wong :)

you're half right, when the engines hot it wont perform as well but if its cold and u rev it out like this u will blow it to bits. car should be at operating temperature before u give it any sort of thrashing

In STIs there’s a central locking dif that can send up to 65% of the power to the rear wheels, he’s most likely running with as much rear bias as possible byt but I may be wrong.
