There is one week left until the KDD of Catalunya 2023, the last event of this year that is ending!
For me it is a very special event, first because we get together more and more Subarus and we can share our experiences. And secondly, why the KDD's plan is to cover sections of the legendary Rally de Catalunya 1995. We cannot cover all of them, but we can cover a good part of the loop in the Sant Hilari area.
Weeks ago, thinking back, I realized that the last time I used this Subaru was at the Subie meeting in July, almost 6 months! I had doubts if it had a battery to start or maybe it would have been discharged! The battery was actually dead and I had to move it with the tweezers! The goal was to wash him and make him handsome for the date! Although you have to travel 700km first to get to the meeting place!
The process I always do to wash my cars can be summarized as: first spray the entire body with degreaser and let it drain well. Afterwards, I wet the body completely before applying neutral soap with a microfiber mitt all over. I rinse all the soap with water to finish drying with the 1,200g microfiber towel. It's now ready for a light wax treatment that I give it with a mitt, and also shine the tires! And with this you are ready for the KDD!!
