Whoosh!! there was a mistake! fully seized rear diff. They call me and we talk about it and I start the search. Before I discard the differentials that I have at home from the RX because they have a different relationship. I manage to find a differential second hand, we must check the relationship to make it compatible. Yes, it fits us, it is 3:66. I buy it and there is the unforeseen, an unforeseen investment that should have been allocated to other pieces but you have to face the situation and move on. And I also have an important date on the calendar to have this car operational and attend the GC8&GF8 meeting organized by Jon Ander.
Changed the differential, recharged the air conditioning system and checked for possible and forced leaks and not found, car finished and ready for itv. And another surprise and another unforeseen. Unfavorable MOT and they force me to approve sti suspension + sti springs. I am 100% that the problem is the color of the shocks and springs. I prepare the paperwork with the homologating company, I logically go through the checkout and I return to the MOT already on the bell because the meeting appointment is immediate. Got the ok on the MOT and already approved for the next few years, this was the only problem I was having.
The car I notice everything very well in the collection and on the way of the ITV which is a displacement of 60 km round trip I am also checking that everything is ok. The acid test will be in the gc8 meeting that I will cover over 1000km and I will be able to see how the car is doing.
