Not sure why there are so many harsh comments below.. drifting in the rain (let alone the snow) requires control as opposed to power. He clearly wasn't a professional, just an amateur having some fun in his car. Looked cool though.

+Brayden Haynes My guess is he was running on summer tires, as opposed to running unstudded winter tires for drifting. One of my friends who owns an impreza wrx drifts on studded winter tires, i drift on unstudded in my honda hrv.

Don't see anything wrong with this video, respectful around buildings and parked cars, and then just having a bit of a hoon on a back road at night when it's likely quiet. Didn't step on till they could see no one was coming. Just unfortunately went a little wide then slingshoted to the other side. Next time.the driver will be better

when he got in to the bank and spooled the turbo it spun all 4 wheels very fast, with all the drive train components and driveshaft's spinning also, when you let of the gas it still wants to spin which is why he lost control and went into the other bank. I didn't hear any bangs so im sure the car is fine. it is amazing how much inertia is in the drivetrain of an sti. most noticeable on wet or snowy roads.

As some1 told, tires arre very important in these conditions especially on the snow, just because you own an Impreza or a Lancer doesn't mean you can sometimes play hard on the throttle!

Just saying (And I'm not scolding b/c I snowdrift too): You got off lucky. There were probably times where you could've gotten a lot worse. Drifting and trees just never goes well. Try to find somewhere more open and less blind and more forgiving

David Beran Nokiany to právě byli....berte že jsem takhle silné auto AWD řídil poprvé v životě a turbo díra byla opravdu otřesná a celkově auto špatně nastavené.

Jinak PS to mělo mít prý 400, ale nevěřím že to mělo víc jak 300, když jsem auto prodával tak si kupec dělal motor a zjistil že jsou přidřené šály a motor nastražen tak aby se rozsypal po 1000km...koupil jsem ho a hned druhý den jsem ho rozstřelil, takže jsem si moc nezajezdil....rozstřelil jsem ho hlavně proto, že jsem jezdil ve sněhové vánici jak debil se 150ti kilovým klukem na zadních sedačkách a hned co jsem ho vysadil doma, tak první zatáčka do lampy. Do měsíce jsem si koupil nové Subo v základu co fakt fungovalo jak mělo a s ním už jsem najezdil mraky km a pořád se mám co učit. Myslím, že GT je top varianta, ale nejlepe Coupe a s přidělaným DCCD od skácela a nějakým pořádným podvozkem a hlavně lepší brzdy, protože to je kámen urazu ty bremba na STičkách vůbec a přitom na 350Z mi ty stejné brzdy fungovaly skvěle a na EVU taky funguji jak maji.

Baki József In snow is different than tarmac. You need the power early to work the diffs and have better entrance in corners without understeer. Without that, is easy to have underseer and sudden oversteer on the turbo spool.
