@alexpmo2 жыл бұрын
I'm not familiar with any unfortunately. I would also encourage not to apply anything on the windshield because it can cause visibility issues with the cameras. For example, I has someone install tint on their windshield and immediately had to remove it because the eyesight deactivated.

@@suecarroll7300 just wondering 8 months later... did that rock that hit your windshield turn into a crack? Subaru windshields unfortunately are notorious for cracking pretty easily. Some people reported the windshield cracking on the way home from the dealership. Most insurance companies will cover your windshield but be sure to double check. I use to have a 32ft dark colored RV. Drying water spots was not an option. It had lots of trim to treat. Look up those items.

A question for you I would appreciate your point of view. What would you purchase a 2022 Outback Touring or a 2022 Forester Touring ? I am going back and forth on this question - I am tending to go with the Forester because it has the refresh plus the Eyesight 4.0.
@alexpmo2 жыл бұрын
Both are very similar in features. The outback is going to have a few more things that the forester wont have. For example, the outback touring is going to have power foldable mirrors and ventilated cooling seats, where the Forester will not have this. The driving position is also different between the two. The forester seats are positioned bigger than the outback seats. The forester feels more like an SUV and the Outback is more like a lifted wagon. The next thing to consider is your time horizon. If your local retailer doesn’t have one in stock that fits what you’re looking for, are you able to order and wait for it to come in? Right now, the Forester is taking about 5-6 months to arrive to on order while the Outback is only taking 2-3 months. Just a few points to consider. Here’s a video I made comparison the Outback and Forester in greater detail. Hope this helps! kzbin.info/www/bejne/r6qkZYOHfbGZnc0

Discount Tire told me it’s better not to spray any tire cleaning products on your tires because it causes the rubber to break down and dry rot faster than they normally would.
@alexpmo3 жыл бұрын
That might be true for some tire shines. However, I've never experienced that with the one I use (Griot's Garage tire shine and trim coating). Not using tire shine can also cause the rubber to dry rot, which could cause a perfectly good tire to prematurely fail.

I'll work on a video that covers service related stuff! Yes, that's normal for delivery times right now. Depending on where you live, the rust proofing isn't necessary. I just got my new 2021 Subaru Forester. Love it, love it! But, it seems too big! I’m a very small female but chose Forester over Crosstrek because of the rear lift gate being automatic. Is there a smaller Subaru with power lift gate? I’m worried about clearance from the snow we get here. Is there a model made for me? Do I need to worry about how high up I sit? Do u think the Crosstrek will move to power lift gate? The Crosstrek looks a bit smaller.

The Crosstrek is definitely smaller, but I don’t think Subaru will move to a lower lift gate on this. What are your thoughts on the outback? I'd ask your local retailer if they have anyone who does touch up paint work. If not, you could try to find a product online but then you have to do it yourself. Alternatively, you could have that part repainted but that usually costs quite a bit. From personal experience, I paid close to $500 for a whole front bumper to get repainted. What is so hard about including a proper spare tyre in a new car? at least in the older Impreza the well under the floor in the back was deep enough to take a full-sized spare even though they only shipped a space saver. I picked up an extra genuine rim from a wrecker for $50 and put a tyre on it and so had a proper spare tyre in there. But in the new models, the well is only deep enough for the space saver it comes with, so there is no way around it. But yeah, #1 thing every subaru owner needs as a real spare tyre....... definitely not crocks! Lol
