@jerrodc85 Glad you found it helpful! Do you have any other tips or suggestions for key fob maintenance?

Yes, it works! But it’s difficult to pry the plastic back off and push the button at the same time. When I did it, it was as you said; it exploded all the pieces out. But it’s better than paying some $10 to $20 to do it.

It's difficult for some reason with this model. But it is better than paying $10-$20.

You did it wrong that's why it exploded 😊

DIY Pinto, good man. You had several cues to stop, back up, and film a "Take Two". Sorry you encountered trouble during your attempt, but those difficulties alerted us as to what to look out for, and what NOT to do. I'm definitely NOT going to use the Emergency Key as a pry tool, just to avoid a major SNAFU. And do STRESS to your viewers to pay attention to how all of the parts fit together so WHEN the parts go frying they'll know where they go! Ready? "Take Two..."

Thanks for the feedback! I'll definitely make sure to stress those points in future videos. Anything else you'd like to see covered?

@user-xt4ie6zn2k Sorry to hear that! Those small parts can be tricky. Have you tried looking for replacement springs online?
