Am I right to say this is the first time in racing game history that a Subaru Legacy rally car (especially this Group A rally car) has made its debut in rally games as an *official* playable car instead of a car mod like people do for Richard Burns Rally? It's beautiful.

Kvf 29 Yeah even though it wasn’t a fast Group A rally car compared to its rivals in WRC, it would be nice if Codemasters somehow can get their hands on a the Galant VR4 and made that into the game. For now, the only way to drive that car in a video game is to download a car mod for Richard Burns Rally. I would personally want to see their version (the 3d car model) of the Lan Evo III Group A in the game. In my opinion, Milestone’s version of the Evo III was just meh. Lack of details.

Love the history of Subaru Rally Team with the Legacy RS. Was the big brother before transitioning to the smaller Impreza, and the rest was history. We owe a great deal to the Legacy RS for the WRX we have now

if you turn off the codriver you learn the stage better and you actually focus on the road more ahead of you. i play with no hud or voice. much more immersive and not as difficult as you think

What I like about your channel is that you drive realistically. What I mean is you don't just flat the car out like it's a game. You make sure you are taking calculated risk like you would IRL. There are channels where you see people doing 20 runs just to get that perfect world record flatout insanity.

Little detail. You can see the light from the brakes illuminated through the trailing dust. Prominently in shadow area's. Also excellent driving as always. Keep it up boss.

Look at those shifts! I am learning to drive manual and I am impressed with the clutch work. Not only are you messing with 3 pedals but your also trying to stay on course! I have a hard time in this game using an xbox controller, haha

Lots and lots of practice. I found if you crank the steering sensitivity way up it’s easier, like 85-95 and linearity 6 with dead zone at 20 👌

Oh yea, AND with a controller... I can’t begin to tell you how many times I’ve re done and tweaked steering settings to get them to a point I can come in close to the top of the list, or top 500-300 on a stage that has 4000+ drivers on the leaderboard.

The pace notes are good, as they should be because your knowledge of the stage relies strickly on them. The game is good all around but it is hard. This guy makes it seem easy and effortless but believe me, it is not. Im just a beginner myself but thorougly enjoying the game. Just a little tip, when starting out, stay the fuck away from Group B cars. They will crush your dreams of ever becoming good. Those 80s rallydrivers and car designers were absolute fucking lunatics.

The pacenotes are good for the most part but sometimes the calls can be late (I have it adjusted so the calls are where I want them but still sometimes an occasional call is too late) and sometimes a 5 is more like a 4 but it's not a huge deal

Yes they do, they have shorter gearing which helps with powerful acceleration, since typically rally courses are very windy and don’t have many extremely long straights
