No shade on this video but for anyone wanting to car camp dont' think you need all of this gear,. You need shelter, a bed, food, water, lighting, a chair and that's about it. Anything else is a luxury so don't be too hasty to spend all your money needlessly. It's a constant evolution and you buy as you need and shop around because quite often you can find useful gear very inexpensively.

Did you disconnect the battery on the Outback? The battery would normally drain if you left the tailgate open, right? Would love to hear what you did! GREAT VIDEO!!
@ChasingAdventuresCO Жыл бұрын
Yes, it would normally drain if you leave the hatch open, so bring the hatch close to closed position and use a key to close the latch and the car will think it is closed. Once you do that, you can open the hatch up manually. And use the key to unlatch it when done it. Hope that makes sense. @@ChasingAdventuresCO if you are open to feedback I quit watching during the tent set-up, way too long and boring for me...! Maybe some like it, but you could also speed it up.

А ты ни как не фиксируешь заднюю дверь? Она с привобом или просто руками открывается и зкарывается?

It's electric, so it opens by itself, and I put a telescoping pool to support the hatch

Do people still trust these Subarus after all of their CVT issues? I don't.

Like what? I haven't had any issues with the CVT

@@ChasingAdventuresCO Consider yourself lucky. My 2021 Outback began experiencing hard shifting at 34,000 miles. I was religiously allowing the dealer to perform all maintenance. At 40,000 th we shifting was so bad the car couldn’t be safely driven. Subaru couldn’t fix the CVT because they really aren’t repairable. I was forced to pay for an entire new CVT. $11,000. You’re all in for a surprise. This is common on Subaru.

@@kerplunk38880 oh wow. I am sorry to hear that. but you are still under the powertrain warranty period so I don't understand why you had to pay out of your pocket?

@@ChasingAdventuresCO Warranty was denied because they claimed it had taken it off road. Untrue. It’s never even been on a gravel road. Currently fighting in court.

Жаль что в россии эти авто стоят не минуемых денег для обычных работяг, придется копить 4 года, так что на рыбалку буду ездить на своем civic 5d😂
