nice, convinced me that i can do it although my 72 years of age will make it a little tougher since i will be doing it without a lift also. but if the upper bolts arent rusted and stuck in there i may just pull it off . thanks for the demo.

You should look for a young kid and tell him that you will show him how to save $100. Better yet, you will teach him how to save that money so he can do it from now on. Supervise him working on your car and you will accomplish 2 things - teach him a valuable skill and get your car fixed 😁. Be careful - youngsters nowadays come with cellphones permanently attached to their hands

You must not live in the rust belt I didn’t see you have to heat up that bolt must be nice. We have to heat the crap out of the bolt where I work I work in the state of Maine.

I'm doing this job in Maine right now. Currently 3 days into my 30 minute job

soaked in pb blaster, and hit it with fire for 10 minutes before trying to turn the pinch bolt, aaaand it snapped in half on both sides. Hey at least it broke past the slot so I should still be able to pry it off right? 2 hours later... yeah, don't look like its coming off. Fuckin Wisconsin. Even tried lifting the prybar with a jack while I hammered on it, wouldn't move a millimeter.
