It will climb like a 4runner if you install a TORQ locker for the rear. Its only $450 + installation.

@@gravitygabri3l I got a 2024 OBW and I am also dreading the new Outback, horrendous is an understatement. Only saving grace is that the pictures released might actually be an Assent and not the Outback. At least that is my dying hope.
@MrEricmopar4 күн бұрын
@@johnkkkj Yeah, if those pics of the new Outback are correct, I'm like what the heck is Subaru thinking? It isn't an Outback at all in that case, but an actual SUV profile, which will hurt it's fuel economy etc. If a person wants a small SUV there are things like the Forester.

Dude, 2k rpm, steady rev, and the AWD system will do the math and take you there. You're letting go of the gas pedal too early. Not flooring it, but steady gas and let it work. Also, air down the tires - will give you more grip. If you want more of your vehicle - get the torqlocker - it makes things much easier. CVT has its weak spot, and this spot is steep climbes, especially with increasing angle, especially if there are step ups on the way. Otherwise, what limits you is only the geometry. And even with all those limitations, you still can get almost anywhere where big boys play, just it will take more time, and probably more chicken lines and building.

@@sagler9874 Legend! This is huge, I had no idea that I was coming off the gas too early. I’m pretty new at this but it gives me a chance to learn. I had it aired down to 22lbs but looking back I could have gone further. Appreciate the help man, all great points!
