Something the video didn't show is the time We were out there for a full day plus. All 4 wheels on the Subaru had to be removed and the frozen mud chipped out just to get it to roll and that was after releasing it from the grip of the frozen Playa.

I've been out there many times in the 70-80-90's. Never trust a wet playa! I knew a couple of guys went out there in the late 70's, lead vehicle got stuck as they neared the sink. Couldn't get it out. Came back next weekend with sheets of plywood, the water was up to the rims now. Couldn't get it out. Eventually resorted to getting a helicopter to recover it.
