In my opinion, their lack of unity and doing a collab once a year is another charm of 2nd gen.

I think they separate yet collab enough that you felt they atleast comfortable. I personally only missed Ayame and Aqua interacting as when I joined back in 2020 ayame and aqua already distancing between them compared to any other 2nd gen combo which still collab or interact from time to time. Still its much better than Gen 1 which really felt like bunch of co workers.

While 0th, 1st and Gamers start to do stuff together, the legendary 2nd Gen are still scattering around and only gather once a year.

@@gulfarion3460 Sora's recent 3D live (5th anniversary and Halloween) only have 0th gen member as guests. 1st Gen live together is last year but on Fubuki's recent morning stream, she said that she and the whole 1st gen member are planning to have dinner together.

Well, gen 2 is probably the only gen that have 3 introverts out of 5 members, and that is one of the reason for lack of collab too

well if anything, this shows that the 2nd Gen is very strong in that each member can individually stand on their own and shine brightly without having the need to come together a lot of times, not that collabs are bad in anyway tho. basically meaning each member of 2nd Gen is a Powerhouse member. and when Together, 2nd Gen is *Ultra MAX Deluxe SSR* in power levels hehehe

Yeah, after coco left, gen 4 looks to be doing their own stuff most of the time. They still collab, but they don't collab with each other as often anymore. Its kinda sad

I mean, yes, gathering them all is pretty rare, but that also can be said about a lot of other gens. However, with the exception of Ayame, Gen2 members actually collab a lot with each other. Choco and Subaru are always together. The same can be said about the iconic Aqua-Shion that, matter of fact, even recorded a duet this year.

2nd gen and HoloX are competely different in this aspect. Yeah, 6th gen members may not be very close irl as we can imagine, but still they are in one team from the start. 2nd gen doesn't have enough even official activities together. Even separate groups like StartEnd or Umisea has more activities. And their gen collabs are... AquShion? They so different that they prefer collabing with others then between themselves. But 5th gen and HoloX are really something.

Yes, its true. 2nd Gen is really just a bunch of misfits all doing their own thing. Its not that they aren't good friends, they certainly are, its just that, like Subaru said, they are all just all over the place. And yes, like Subaru says here, it wasn't until Gen 3 that Hololive decided to make each Gen have something in common, like how Gen 3 is Holo Fantasy, or Gen 1 of the EN branch being Holo Myth.
