This is the 2nd time within a week that a Holomem had to suddenly run over to another Holomem's house for an emergency off-collab. Korone and Subura couldn't be in the same room online, so they had to be in the same room in-person.

It's a problem that really only exists in niche circumstances within the United States at least. I only remember it because back in the day. Online gaming was... FAR more difficult to set up. Especially if you were a casual. Incompatible internet is one of the reasons why.

there's a number of reasons, but one is NAT type, the way your router handles negotiations between your computer and the broader internet. it may not direct incoming connections correctly, and if two people have incompatible NAT types, they might fail to connect no matter which person initiates the connection.
