I don't believe more than a handful of owners have driven their F50 this hard, even back then when there were worth far less than they are now!

The F50 outclassed everyone, with its huge engine, and suspension that were meant mostly for the track, not the road, and cost a lot more.. but got to admit, the F50's screams like an F1..

F50 is not fair in this race, it is another level... doesn't make sense a car with atleast +300hp more than the others. Is like race an F1 vs F50, doesn't make sense...

apparently they do. the only reason that those cars are slow because they are stock cars with japanese hp limit at 276. torque was the only thing they can get out of it. im sure that the NSX R will be very close to the f50

The are using the NSX-S s-zero which is an NSX that is gutted with no AC, stereo, or navigation. These are the measures that honda had to take to compete.

@GsGxInuyasha well, not really handling wise, it's kinda equal with the rest, i think power and price are the only things that made it in a totally different league, 500hp is twice more than the rest of the cars, and it weighs the same as the NSX, so it's not fair at all as you said..

the f50 is not that much faster on the time attack stats at the end all cars are very close in times with all cars being 2 seconds apart in times

Tsuchia aka dori dori was driving the 22b, it's the best driver of all in the video, so i don't think in this case the driver isn't good

if you want performance over value, I'd go for a modified NSX, if it's for the looks and attention, a Ferrari will certainly do the job..

kieran L because You probably own both, yes? I've got GC8 STI RA and last time when I was with it on 1/4mile competition I was faster than every stock evo 8&9 there. You obviously don't know shit about GC8's RA version.

Simon Sady 1. This is circuit racing not drag racing 2. Evos are better around tracks stock or modded we all know it, look up any track AWD record times! 3. The sti ra is lightest of the group has a shorter geared transmission. Subaru just have to much under steer its a fact! sold my 95 wrx or a 06 sti now sold that to import a Evo 6 because they are better for track with the ayc

kieran L exactly. So tell me why do the GC8 is slower on straight than Evo in this video? All the way accelerating to 160mph - 260kph RA is faster than any Evo, only Makkinen Edition(IV) is a bit faster on the straight that GC8 RA. Evo is faster only because of that AYC wich is actually turning with braking(You can see difference in corner entry speed) but normally without it evo would be crap. Evos 1,2 & 3 didn't had it so up to 95 every Impreza was faster. So basicly Impreza rulez, the only thing is that the politic of Fuji Heavy Industries is: pure mechanical, like in Honda: non-turbo engines. Also Impreza is faster on the way out and still has more torque and engine is more heatproof. You should experiment more with your suspension set up, you'll be amazed how much Subaru can be faster in curves. My 1997 GC8 has less understeer than my mates evo 8. The only thing is it looks hilarious as the front is way higher than the Evo's :) I'll try to upload video soon.

If the evo is far ahead in the turns the sti is not gonna keep up just because the straight line.

Amazing, the $84,000 NSX managed to beat two inline-4, 4 door, compact cars. Way to go Honda.

seems the 355 is not worth the money when it comes to performance, being an expensive sports car made for performance got beaten by a RS and NSX and having a hard time with a four cylinder sedan proves that ferrari's can be over rated.. but for the looks and sound of a sports car, i say it's 2nd or equal to F50 in this case.. i think boosting the NSX's engine equal to F50 and wider tires as well, it can kick the rich boy's toy's a**...

355 is more a GT car, it was never designed with circuit driving in mind its a luxury sporty car. the F355 stradale/competizione is more suited for track use

Oh please, import fanboys have been using that "hp limit" agreement as an excuse for too long. It is a well known fact that several cars went over that limit while it was in place.

wth... this is a no comparison video. if they wanted a match up against the f50 they probably should've gone with a nsx-r. f50 is substantially a better faster car than all of those.
