great vid as always! What I would say though is the only thing I hate more than an aftermarket stereo head-unit, is one where the illumination colour does not match the car's instrumentation. It should have red lighting in this case

Okay, what parts is my '16 WRX Premium (USDM) missing from the S4 besides the CVT and keyless/push-button ignition? -WRX Limited / STI (USDM) headlights w/ blacked out reflectors -Rear windshield wiper -3 individual rear seatbelt sensors and indicator lights in dash display -Side mirror turn signal and welcome lights -Satin silver side mirror caps, rear garnish and door armrests -Middle rear seat armrest/cup holders -S4 wheels -S4 rear badge -Right-hand Drive -Power-folding side mirrors -Dual-zone climate control ...And the S4 greets you verbally!!! Is it possible to make my WRX greet me when I turn it on too?! What else did I miss? LOL JDM versions are always better than the USDM version. I really wish I had a legit WRX S4 :(

If this engine can make 300hp and the CVT can handle it, why are people so worried about modding the CVT wrx in NA when that engine only produces 268hp?

Checker_guy As a CVT owner who went stage 1 and has the Sti Exhaust upgrade, its because people never drove one. I am coming up on 3 years in august and its solid, I drive using the paddle shifter most of the time since its fun to. Everyone thinks its a normal cvt, its not. Subaru designed a high performance CVT with a steel belt to handle the torque. I have a friend who is a head mechanic at my local dealer and said he feels the could handle up to 500 hp and torque before he would start to worry.

@@kurtbrigandi I'm 31 now and as I've gotten older a CVT looks more appealing to me. I bought a 2004 STI when I as 22 then when I turned 28 I bought a 2015 WRX it's coming around for me to buy a new car and I love WRX's and the older I get the more appealing a CVT is looking. I did all sort of mods to my STI and when I got my WRX all I did was turbo back exhaust catted and intake with stage 2+ OTS Cobb tune. Now I'm really hoping the next WRX has an automatic transmission and I believe that the CVT transmission market is for guys like me that loved the STI but the older I get the more I realize how unpractical it is for me and I want to look a little more mature and still be able to zip around town.

Corey Smith I feel the exact same way as you being I’m 31 as well. The auto is the perfect way to have a fully functioning car that can handle a family, which also happens to he a high powered, awd beast. I have gotten it to run a 4.6 sec 0-60 with nothing more than the stage 1 tune and exhaust. If you were you actually mod it, that time would drop fast. The paddle shifting is precise and faster than anyone could throw a gear. I just recommend getting a CVT cooler, once you do that it can easily handle whatever mods you put on it.

Basic Diferences (besides S4 stuff): 1.LED strip in front ( between blinkers and fog lights) 2. All Automatic windows 3. Rear bumper fog light 4. Rear seat arm rest with cup holder (no center console cup holders for rear) 5. Sti style front cup holder cover/lid 6. Sti side mirror blinkers

Not to mention that the WRX S4 has eyesight. For the U.S. only the Legacy, Outback, XV, and Forester came with eyesight. Also, the Japanese WRX (S4), WRX STi, and STi Type S have a rear wiper. All three models have a "blacked out" lining in the headlights plus there's no amber reflector on the sides. While the Premium grade in the U.S. version doesn't. Lastly, the JDM models use LED lights while the U.S. models, only the Limited (WRX & STi) and the Launch Edition (STi) use LED, leaving the Base and Premium grade with halogen..

+Héctor Manuel Crespo Mont You forgot the most glaring difference: the WRX S4 has 300PS, or 296hp. A noticeable increase over the USDM WRX which has 268hp. Almost equal power to the STI. This probably explains why the S4 does not have the 6MT.

Jimmy Vong that's a sticker on the pedals. Most new cars come with it and you can peel it right off.
