The brembo's are a welcomed addition. Other than that, all they had to do was give it the sti transmission. They failed!

The Brembos are what will sell this! And I don’t mind the transmission tbh🤷‍♂️even compared to my own STI

@@Veryhairyharris the transmission is fine stock. But it's not very robust and can't handle much power. Many people who are tuned are blowing up their transmissions and then doing very costly STI swaps as that transmission is much more durable.

They changed the wheels, gave it different brakes, and called it a tuner car worth a premium over the base model. No engine changes. Minimal suspension changes, rides at the same ride height. They didn't even give it the spoiler that it's supposed to get in every other market aside from NA. What is there to be wowed about?

I like to consider myself a Subaru fan and motorsports can, car enthusiast thru-and-thru. And I gotta say that thing looks ugly I'm sure it drives great and all that but wow it looks bad. Like it's meant for a Chinese mobile game

Pretty much agree. Makes me sad as someone who's owned a 2013/GR hatch for 11 years now and is in the market for a car soon. The new wrx just isn't it anymore

I bought a 2021 thankfully, but genuinely I have come around to the VB. If I ever lose my ‘21 I’d definitely consider.
