Every New vehicle has large infotainment screens. Ford did a great Job with placement and the information they provide. Get use to them or you'll need to buy older pre-owned vehicles that have the tiny 4" screen that Only provides the radio channel your tuned into

Matt, Thanks for the tour on the new Expedition and all the trims. Overall I like it, For a large big box SUV, these look good, very streamlined, looks good for what it is. The interior I like the sliding center console, neat idea, nice layout, however not a big fan of the speedometer screen just sitting there on the shelf of the dash. I like when the dash screen/gauges is more flush with the dash and streamlined, plus you are right it blocks the lower part of the hood/windshield view. I know Ford and many others love these screens that just stand on the dash, but I wish they would make the screen flush and designed within the dash, like how your Mustang Bullitt was done and like how my Lincoln Continental was done nice digital gauges, but integrated into the dash, just looks more natural and better in my opinion.

Good review, guys, as always. Love the idea of an Expedition Tremor. Love the added road clearance, larger tires, skid plates, locking diif, new engine. Oh, but if only the hybrid Powerboost engine was an option. I'd love it if the 40/20/40 split bench leather seats of the Platinum Max were available as an option on the Tremor. Do you know if they are? Oh man, combining that luxury, functional interior of the Platinum Max in the Tremor, that would be something, especially those thickly luxurious 40/20/40 split bench seats. Not sure I like the new dashboard design and oval steering wheel. I would love it if I could option the fold out flat work surface of the front center console that comes on the F150's, that would be huge for me, but I doubt it is, so maybe I can create something removable to lay there when I need it.

And I see it as Ford making more money off of the customer for safety features to be added to the already experience vehicle.

Tell me where you received your engineering or marketing degree. Since you haven't set in a new Expedition. How would you know that the display always shows a reflection because it doesn't. It's a huge improvement over the older heads-up display. The upper dash display has your binnacle or an exterior case. Otherwise the gauges would be attached individually to the upper dash. Regarding your switch gear... Having a rotary knob with paddle shifters works great. That's why most automatic vehicles use a rotary knob which takes up less console space with the paddle shifters for use in the sports mode setting. The large SUVs like the Expedition, Denali and Suburban are for families that need space for traveling or an executive who wants to travel in luxury and requires people space. I find them extremely useful. I'm guessing you are likely young and single. Nice Job expanding your vocabulary.

I am not young and single as you can see on my channel, I am an old guy who has been an attorney for over 20 years and also has a company that is designing guitar pedals and digital effects. I don't like the current direction of design at Ford and others and I am entitled to speak out. You can clearly see the reflections in the display in this video. There is no shade or binnacle around the display. A good display would be in something like the 2023 M4, before they switched to the shiny screen, where you have a matte display in a binnacle, but lots of manufacturers still do it this way. A super cheap way is to use a shiny display like this the Expedition. You should confine your comments to the cars and not talk about people you don't know!

Definitely "moving metal" Season in full swing so don't expect much in the way of product placement that needs showing until next Year 2025 Calendar Year as Stellantis has kicked off a price War whilst clearing dealer lots which will last straight on in to 2025 especially for full size trucks and SUVs such as this. Only vehicle I will be watching well overdo for a complete overhaul is the Toyota RAV4 as battery electric trucks start to really hit the US market big time starting with Tesla Cybertruck followed by Ford presumably Rivian after these two. 100,000 per Month from these 3 alone? Will definitely be waiting on the 7.3 for Ford Expedition if those are the numbers for BEV trucks with still waiting on GM numbers and Dodge to even have a battery electric as of yet. Whatever the sales number said production will carry through to 2025 and include a huge number of 3 row SUVs such as the Kia EV9 not this big but darn close😊
