The EX-T is easily the best value for the 10th generation as well. The price difference between the EX and EX-T at my local dealership in California was only $800. Im old school, but can honestly say back in the early '90s the common thing you would hear about Honda was that the crx's back looked awful. then people started tuning them and all of a sudden it became a head turner, now everyone wanted one or admired it. Im already digging the fact that Honda's making people say the same thing 25 years later. once a tuned Si leaves you in the dust you will admire the back end of the car..lol

One of the main reasons I didn't get the new civic was because it didn't offer a manual transmission on the higher trims- especially with the 1.5t. I got a 2016 Mazda3 Grand Touring (2.5 liter) and love it, but I'm glad to hear that Honda is finally offering a manual again with the turbo!

I don't agree with the fact that you can't hear the turbo in the civic. I own a civic sedan with the turbo motor and I usually hear a small whistle when I slowly accelerate. But you really hear it when you roll down the windows. Idk if it's different in the coupe, but you can definitely hear it in the sedan.

@SimbaTheGreat8 жыл бұрын
Raul Omar they're fun cars to drive. If you can find one with a tech package you get heated and cooled seats, nav, back up cam (comes with out tech package as well), heated steering wheel, sunroof. It's fast. Like not blow the doors off a mustang fast, but it's a very quick car. The automatic with paddles is fun and the stick is even more fun. It's downfall is it doesn't really "stick" in the corners and the steering feel can be kinda vague even with sport setting on the steering wheel. I heard this can be remedied with a set of coil overs and better grippier tires.
@raulomar90578 жыл бұрын
Simba TheGreat Thanks for the advice, I bought one last week with the manual and it's so fun to drive and you're so right about the car going in corners. I'm about to buy a new set of tires since it's a used car and maybe a exhaust.

I have a 2016 EX-T sedan and it's a great car especially for someone like me who commutes 52 miles one way. It's efficient and deceptively quick for its specs; however, the infotainment system in it is one of the worst things on the market. It's usually non-responsive, the touch power "button" for the audio literally doesn't work in mine, and every time you start this car there's always this annoying warning message that takes over the touch screen that you always have to confirm on before you can operate things like the climate controls, radio, or other options. That's the one complaint I have about this car. The mechanics/engineering 8/10. The infotainment system 1/10.
