Welcome to the world of Dai Gyakuten Saiban, also known as The Great Ace Attorney. This installment of the Ace Attorney series takes place at the end of the of the Japanese Meiji period. Assisted by Sherlock Holmes, Iris Watson, Susato Mikotoba and more, Ryuunosuke will unravel mysteries, solve cases, and prove himself as a worthy attorney. In Case 3, Ryuunosuke goes to court in London for the first time. This is a test by the Lord Chief Justice of London, Hart Vortex. Ryuunosuke must do battle with the Reaper of the Old Bailey, Barok van Zieks, if he wishes to get his client a Not Guilty verdict. However, a sinister player is at work in the courtroom as well.
