Regarding the Mac & cheese, the "best" is subjective. I have eaten so many 'the best' recipes only to find out that I didn't care for it as much as I thought I would, and that's not only with mac & cheese. That one you featured in a recent video which your mom made when you were a kid was a good all-time standby. I did try it so I can vouch. I also take your word that this one here is also 'the best.'

My Grandma made pot roast exactly like that except not the evaporated milk. She did a can of golden mushroom, onion soup mix and a can of beef stock. Campbells brands on GM and the Stock. A diced onion, mini red potatoes or quartered Idaho. Baby carrots. Or leave out the taters and make mashed. She would thicken the gravy at the end with a corn starch slurry. The golden mushroom is a blend of mushroom and tomato and it flavors the vegetables so well. I still make this.

Those recipes all look delicious! Thanks for sharing and thanks, fellow subbies, for sending them in! Tony's is probably my favorite seasoning blend. And it's easy to pronounce: "sash-uh-ree". I have a vintage Tony's Cookbook that my uncle picked up when he was working construction in Louisiana back in the 1970s. It contains Mr. Tony's original recipe for his now-famous seasoning. My uncle would make it by the gallon jars full, then fill pint jars and give them as Christmas gifts. I was a teenager but already knew my way around the kitchen pretty well and I fell in love with that seasoning. It has been one of my kitchen staples ever since.
