Just turned 50 like a Couple months ago I've listen to them since at least 15 years of age..they have schooled me more than any schools have , punk was not just a fashion nor a fad for some..it actually was who we where and still are.. it was a fight a cry for what we saw wrong in this world ..and the sad part is no one who really listened...they moved forward and picked there political parties and so forth because they thought that was how they could change it and make it better ...nothing changed ! The truth is where you really listening??

That's correct, most people mistook punk as being a left wing movement, nope it was far deeper.

"This is one of the most important songs ever written", said somebody on youtube. For me, it was the soundtrack of my youth (it came out in 1983) and I pretty much think and feel the same way to this day, cheers

This song reminds me of an old painting on a wall in my hometown that said " can you imagine a war without soldiers ?"
@zombywoof91885 жыл бұрын
That's a beautiful thought.

Without a shadow of doubt the best punk song EVER written and I'm proud to say that I'm from the same town (Warminster in Wiltshire UK) as Subhumans

Dick is from Melksham, I seen him in passing a few times, walking around Melksham, chippenham and Trowbridge. This was before I knew who he was, I had just discovered SUBHUMANS and the first time I seen them at a gig, I was like "fuck me, I know you". it was only the drummer from Warminster I think .. Great band though, regardless of location.

I finally got to see them at a pub in Florida a few years ago. By far the best show I've ever seen outside of Bad Brains and Rush...The guys were super cool to sign all my merch. Just heard there coming back soon can't wait

A brilliant song by a brilliant band - one of the few bands I've ever bothered to go see. Strangely, the only other piece of music I can compare this to is '2112' by Rush, and I think that's pretty fu**ed up of me. :/

So you're a corporate puppet now? Once you've lived on the outside of normal society by even just listening to proper punk how can you go back to mindless drudgery of normal living....Career/Wife/Kids/Mortgage and being happy with the MINDLESS rubbish that's on the TV in 2020? Cut loose and get your life back

'Become something you never were and regret it Til the day you die' is a line from this song you should take heed of
