Great video, thanks for making this! What do you mean by phaneo being formed passively? Your chart makes it appear to be formed with active endings. I just began learning Koine so I may be missing something.

Hi Sam! Yes, aorist passive subjunctive verbs actually take active endings! In the case of the aorist passive, there are other features that tip us as to its being passive. In this case, it is the fact that it forms from the root and that that aorist passive subjunctives are often active in meaning (something often referred to as deponency).
