I am curious, why not use canvas? And it looks like bad news for the Bambu printer only one on the table now.

Two drawbacks to canvas- Too heavy and since most canvas is cotton or nylon, it does not take sublimation dye. As for the Bambu, it had to be sent back for a replacement. New one on the way.

@@rogersshop Thank you, good to know. We just got access to a sublimation printer and I have plenty to learn.

What is the type of polyester that you purchased? I’m new to sublimating and I have “blackout” polyester from the fabric store. Is there a thicker one? Thanks for the videos!

Best thing t5o try is a test on a small piece, doing both sides to see if it bleeds through. Suggestion when doing both sides: Do both sides at once, not separate. Otherwise, the first side will bleed off color when you do the second side.

Hi Roger what is the brand of the poly fabric you got? I've tried several and am always looking for recommendations based on what people have used. Also what is the brand of the heavy duty sewing machine you used to sew on the webbing? I'm researching an industrial machine. Thank you

Fabric: No idea what the brand was. This was a remnant purchased from a local fabric shop (I have WAY more than I need). Heavy duty machine: This gets complicated....The brand of the machine is Tuff Sew. It has been upgraded with a lot of Sailrite parts intended for their LSZ and LS machines, since they all fit. It also has been upgraded to the Sailrite servo motor drive and has the Sailrite Monster Wheel. I think the Tuff Sew, Sailrite, Rex, etc. are all made in the same China factory. Difference with Sailrite is their upgraded specified parts.
