I have learned that if you wet the very tip with a little wet finger and if it is sticky that is the correct side to print on. Just a little tiny bit.

I have the same printer & paper however, I too thought the paper was the same on both sides, so I wasted a sheet by printing on two sheets, first on one side and then on the other. For me the image did not print onto my substrate from one of the printed sheets of paper. Taking a closer look at the paper, one side looks slightly shinier than the other, and that was the side that printed to my substrate, the other side transferred a very faded image to my substrate . In my experiment I was printing to a koosie cup.

So my prints are transferring very faded from the Epson 170. Is this because of the cotton content? Am I printing on the wrong side of the paper? Wrong heat settings, timing? Is there a setting cheat sheet?

If you're sublimating on content, it will look faded. You need polyester.

Hello recently purchased the f170 printer can anyone help me to change document size to half a4 size for mugs I tried to change it but it doesn't seem to fit the half a4 size when I print preview . Only printing at A4 works without any problems

I have the same printer and paper…the paper has a shiny side and dull side….please be sure to put the paper in shiny side down…which is the print side.

@FemmeTechie is correct. There is a specific side on the Epson paper to print on. If you look closely one side is white while the other side is off-white. You should be printing on the white side only.

I'd suggest only using a dictionary while you use it look at the word creator The end is filled with an OR not an AR
