If you even still check comments kn this video Thank You for making a short quick video for how to do this!! How many washes does it last???
@HeatTransferWarehouse2 ай бұрын
We do still check the comments! Thank you for watching! Sublimation lasts the life of the garment because the dye becomes part of the fabric. The ink turns into gas and penetrates the polyester fibers, creating vibrant, durable colors that resist fading, cracking, or peeling.

How're you guys printing on the triblends without scorching the rayon? I've attempted this on a triblend am getting stuck with a distinct shine and platen shaped box where the heat press came down and am not sure what adjustments to make to avoid it.
@HeatTransferWarehouse6 ай бұрын
Hello! I would recommend starting on lower temperatures and bumping up the heat slowly as you go along, using less heat is going to be better on a blend with rayon! I would also avoid using too much pressure, as this can cause some scorching. I would also recommend the use of heat press pillows (www.heattransferwarehouse.com/heat-press-pillows-1/) and heat press teflon sheets (www.heattransferwarehouse.com/heat-press-teflon-release-sheets/) if you are not already using them. These materials help to disperse heat and pressure evenly, which assist in eliminating press marks. I hope you find this helpful! If you have any other questions, you can always reach out to our customer service team at customerservice@heattransferwarehouse.com!

how does that high heat and long amount of time not leave a fade mark on the t with color? We use heat press low temp tags at 290 for 10 sec and they leave a slight faded mark on darker fabrics sometimes. Thanks for your help!

If you were selling these retail, would you do so with instructions or a warning stating that they'll fade a bit more after the first wash? Or would you pre-wash them (perhaps with plain water only)?
@danbarb97284 жыл бұрын
well, i have no idea, i dont have a T-Shirt bussiness but as a customer i would be disappointed when my shirt would look different after the first wash, so i would go for the pre wash. I am doing sublimation and HTV as a hobby and probably the cheap way of screen printing with vinyl as a mask in the future, just for the fun of it. I didnt even know that the vintage effect was so easy to do with tri blend. The Thing is that many people dont like polyester shirts but the tri blend could be a good compromise. HTV has just a totally different look and wont look really vintage because of the strong color of the foil and the thickness.

Hello! We would suggest giving them a quick pre-wash if you are going with a blended shirt. But using a 100% polyester garment would make sure there is no fading after washing.

@nms57201 Жыл бұрын
I’d be cautious to prewash peoples shirts as some have allergies to certain detergents. I’m just up front with my customers. I ask if they want the image to fade or not, then I press onto shirt that corresponds with said request.

I know the colours aren't no way as near vibrant to the white 100% poly t shirt compared to the other lighter coloured 100% poly t shirts but can you not do an underlayer of white so no matter what colour the 100% poly t shirt is, the print will always be vibrant and as close to colour matched?

It sounds like you might be burning your garment. We would recommend turning down your temperature about 10 degrees to see if that helps. Also, use slightly less pressure. If you are still having issues, please reach out to our customer service team and they should be able to assist!

Okay, so here is the ultimate question - I noticed you are wearing two tee shirts with the white one on. I've ordered quite a few blanks and the problem I'm seeing is that as a female, I can't see to find a white tee that will work with sublimation that isn't see through. Unless you wear two tee shirts.

Unfortunately, this can be a common issue when working with polyester garments as they tend to be thinner and lower quality. If you are having trouble finding quality polyester garments to sublimate with, I would recommend trying DTF transfers on a thicker cotton blend!

Did you mean layer dye sublimation transfers with each other? Also if you are repressing something that is already sublimated, it could reactivate the inks and cause the original transfer to be damaged.

Can you use 48 poly - 52 Cotton?
@marklola124 жыл бұрын
Yes, but it will have a very faded vintage look, the inks do not fuse to cotton parts of a mixed top. When you heat press polyester the fibres open and allows the ink in then seals shut...this does not happen with cotton and the more cotton in a mix top the lighter and faint the print
