Illness Anxiety Disorder (IAD), formerly known as hypochondriasis or hypochrondria, is an anxiety disorder in which the sufferer fears having a serious illness, despite reassurance from medical professionals and repeated screening tests showing up negative. Sufferers fear they have or will get a serious illness, either by catching it from someone else or inheriting it from a family member. While these can be real concerns for everyone, in the case of IAD the fears of illness become overwhelming and interfere with quality of life, despite the fact that the sufferer may have only minor or no symptoms.
With this 30 minute subliminal session featuring relaxing rain sounds, train your subconscious mind to let go of any irrational fears you have of illness or disease, and deal with stress appropriately and constructively.
Note: This is a subliminal session, which means you will not hear the affirmations spoken out loud. The affirmations are masked by background sound, which allows them to bypass the conscious mind and instead be picked up by the subconscious. The subconscious mind is highly suggestible in most people, so it's possible to create lasting changes in thought patterns, beliefs and behaviours simply by listening over time while performing other relaxing activities such as reading or studying, or even while sleeping.
As with any serious medical condition, please seek out medical or professional help if you feel you need it. A subliminal session such as this should never be used as a sole treatment, but rather as a complimentary therapy. That is, it should be used in addition to such things as counseling, medication, self-care and so on.
INSTRUCTIONS
Listen to the track at a comfortable volume, with or without headphones. The subliminal does not need to be played loudly, but it does need to be audible. Avoid listening to other things simultaneously such as TV, music, or any medium where you can hear someone else talking or singing, as this can reduce the effectiveness of the subliminal. Try to put yourself into a positive and relaxed state of mind before listening. Take deep breaths, and keep well hydrated.
Consistency is key. For best results, listen every day, preferably at the same time each day, for a minimum of 2-4 weeks. Once per day is sufficient. Results are highly individual, and some people begin to experience positive changes much sooner than others, but for full and long lasting results, it is recommended that you listen for up to 12 weeks.

I'm from Rome, I have been at home for month now and today I had a panic attack due to some symptoms my brain associated to the coronavirus, we all need some reassurance in this delicate moment, and we must stay in the present, and as long as we are careful when we go out to the grocery everything will be fine! I live in a small town in Canada, and we are also staying home, only going out for groceries or necessities, though I also go for a walk (by myself) by the river every day. Normal body functions have me fearing I have some sort of enlarged spleen or other unnoticeable issues. I have to listen to this a few times but it definitely makes me feel better

With the intention of scaring me, my doctor gave me the impression that I was HIV positive only to finished her sentence saying that I was negative. The trauma and fear I felt was like nothing I've ever felt before. That feeling is still with me on my daily life.

It’s not gone completely, however I will say that I am completely at ease and it has been reduced significantly. I am not really stressed out about my health as much and I have been more proactive about improving my health. Furthermore I listen to strengthen your immune system with positivity and that has help me as well.

I have hypochondriasis ((or however ya spell it)) , have had ever since I had a massive heart attack in 2021, I know though that my heart is better and stronger than it has ever been, I had a stent put in and now take 5 pills a day, 2 for blood pressure ((one of which slows your heart rate)) 2 blood thinners and a cholesterol medicine, I was freaking out last night because my heart rate was 71 ((yep, you read that right)) to the point of kept waking up checking my heart rate and it was always at 71... My cardiologist said from a cardiac standpoint that I am doing extremely well, I just have to try and fight off this anxiety disorder.. Hoping this video helps some... to all of you out there suffering as well, I send good thoughts and prayers your way.. Have a beautiful day...

I tested positive with covid on 2nd jan (I’ve recovered) and I have never been as sick as I was during that time, I have covid long term symptoms even now and I’m afraid something is wrong and I am going to die every second of every day. It doesn’t let me sleep at night. I’ve been rushed to the ER and gotten multiple tests and everything seems fine but yet I cannot shake away the fear, all of my doctors told me I’m fine and it’s just anxiety. I’m obsessed with checking my heart rate, bp & temperature. I didn’t know how to cope until I found this. Just after a few times after listening to this it has made me feel so much better and so much more confident that nothing is wrong, I know that this is a journey but this is a great start, thank you so much for this.

Thank you , I know I am young I am 14 years old but about 9 months ago my dad suffered a brain aneurysm and hearing the doctors say that he might die made me so scared. My dad is fine now and I have a much stronger relationship with him but I still fear everyday that me or someone I love might get sick. I have been struggling with this for months and cried a lot because I was so scared . I still am scared but I’ve realized that pushing these negative thoughts aside will not get rid of them 😞 a few months ago my mom told me to control them or else she would send me to a therapist and people are gonna think I’m crazy. I’m hoping that this will help me overcome these thoughts because these thoughts are so overwhelming and I have not been myself ever since

I'm sorry to hear what has happened to your dad, that's definitely scary! It sounds like you could be experiencing some trauma from what happened. Therapy might be a good idea, but it's not at all helpful to be called "crazy". Trauma is a completely normal reaction to an abnormal situation. At the young age of 14, you don't expect your dad to get sick or possibly die, and it's not something to just "get over" either. So please don't feel like there is something wrong with you; you may just need some help to sort through the scary feelings and fully recover. In any event, I hope this gives you some relief, take good care of yourself!

@@The.myysteriousAnna Hi, this is my new account and it does work for a while. I did stop listening to it tho but I might start again because I’ve been feeling overwhelmed, scared, and anxious again. I do think this subliminal works but I believe the only way to fully overcome hypochondria is by going to a therapist and getting help. I’ve been having health anxiety for 2 years now, I was 13 when I first began to have this anxiety and now I’m 15 . Im hoping to get professional help soon because my anxiety will not go away . If you’re like me and don’t have access to therapy or too scared to tell someone about it then I guess listening to subliminals will calm you down for a while but I’m afraid to say that it will not cure it if we don’t get professional help

I never knew health anxiety was a thing until after i gave birth. I kept reading that its very common afterwards. But oh man they do not prepare you for it. I'm always anxious anymore don't want to go anywhere. I been to the er about 4 times this year to be told panic attacks even if i had mild health issues like once low magnesium or whatever. any time my body acts up i go into panic mode. I'm tired :( I'm always tense as well

Yes I understand, it's scary times right now! Try to limit your consumption of media and news if you can; so much of it is negative and sensationalized, and produces fear in many of us. I keep having this thing where my brain thinks I’m having a stroke. I keep pinching my cheek to make sure my left side isn’t numb. I’m having this thing tonight where’s it’s lasted an hour. It sucks.

I will think about it, but I likely can't do this one, sorry. Using my methods, there needs to be some psychological component to the issue; something that can be helped by changing your thought patterns, beliefs and behaviours. I'm not sure ear, nose and throat would fit into that category. Sorry about that, take care!

Yes, you can listen as many times as feels comfortable for you. The only time you should limit listening is with tracks that contain frequencies (binaural beats or isochronic tones), but this audio doesn't have frequencies so you can listen as often as you like. Take care! =)

Yes, it's fine if you listen to only part of it. That being said, this works primarily through repetition, so generally speaking, the longer you listen, the quicker you will see results. I recommend listening for at least 10 minutes at a time. Hope that helps, take care!

Yes, I know it's difficult, but try concentrating on what you can do within your own sphere of influence. Which means, just concentrate on your own friends, family and community, and try to let go of the things that are beyond your control. And as I said in my other comment to you, avoid the news if you can. It's so important to not have information overload right now.
