My daughter starts her undergrad course at Med school here in the PHILIPPINES tomorrow and I have spent all day downloading your 200+ anatomy videos. They will be a great blessing to her. Thanks and God bless you.

Hah! I have my exam on head&neck and CNS anatomy on Monday as well, and I was just revising the trigeminal and facial nerves when this came out :D I guess I'll take this opportunity then to thank you for your videos as they've been an invaluable resource in my revision and especially in understanding the cranial nerves :)

Thanks Sam, been watching some of your videos about the cranial nerves in relation to the nerve bundle in the inner ear/ temporomandibular junction. Had post concussion syndrome a few year ago and was trying to make sense of some of the symptoms, facial numbness, ocular wandering, excessive saliva, speech issues, swallowing problems, gastric issues, cranial and shoulder tension and so much more. Any chance you can ask the Welsh Assembly for a grant to teach the GP's, neurologists and neuropsychologists who deal with TBI patients in Wales please because whoever taught them have told them that TBI symptoms are caused by anxiety or the menopause (if you are a woman). It's so obvious, after watching DTI scan videos, that there is micro damage to the nerves in the brain stem, pons and cranial nerves.

Hi Sam, I am trying to learn about my Lingual nerve as it was ripped out when my wisdom teeth were removed. Will I ever have taste buds or feelings again half of my mouth / tongue? I am trying to learn all I can. I am left with a tingling sensation that never stops. Any advise would be appreciated. Thank you Wendy

Every nerve bundle must conduit through holes in the skull to receiver brain area involved in individual functions. There’s almost no room behind the third molars for any bone structure.

At 13:57 you said that lingual nerve is now a mixed nerve. But is it not a sensory nerve Sam?
