Submerged Fishfinder: Does it still work?

My Humminbird Helix 7 filled with water when my dad flipped his kayak. I opened it up and dried it out to see if it still works.

Its funny they call it a humming bird despite humming birds not ever catching fish. Imo they should call it the kingfisher.

Most electronics and will survive if they’re at least turned off while there wet
