Can these lights be attached inside an inflatable Coleman saluspa hot tub since the inside surface is plastic and I would not want to add something perminate to the sides due to damage...

Any suggestions for mounting this on a rough surface concrete pool? Suction cups and magnets won't work for me

Hmmm. I use the suction cups and they work pretty well against the tile. The only thing I can think of is something permanent like using an epoxy to attach magnets to the side of our pool where you can mount the lights, or maybe a Gorilla Waterproof Patch and seal tape could work somehow. Just brainstorming off the top of my head. Sorry I can't think of something better at the moment.

I wanna use these for a craft project where I need remote battery lights that change colour, how bright are they outside of water?

I'm so sorry it has taken me so long to get back to you. I'm just catching up on comments. I always like to be honest, and brightness wise, I'd say these lights are very good. I unfortunately don't have a lumen reading for you. The ones Qoolife sent me to test use 4 AA batteries, and the longevity of the batteries is not great. If I were to pick, I'd choose the lights that you can recharge over AA battery replacement. If you want to go very high quality (and more expensive) I love Apurture MC lights. amzn.to/3H7o3sR They are outstanding and very bright with a good rechargeable battery life. Good luck!

I have some trouble with the remote too when the lights are submerged. I have to get the remote close to the water and hold the buttons. If it's not working out of water, then I'd contact the manufacturer and have them send you a new one.

Do they make them that use main power? who wants to install these in their pool only to have to take them back out and change batteries all the time? I want them on all night for mood lighting in my yard, I dont think batteries are an option for this?

No unfortunately they don't. I agree that the battery isn't ideal, but my kids love to play with them in our spa. For landscape mood lighting I've seen some cool wired low voltage options at Home Depot that you might want to consider. Here's a link to get you started. homedepot.sjv.io/BN2AJ

For the hot tub, I use the suction cups to stick to the tile. If you have a metal surface, that works too.

I have tried them in our hot tub at 100 degrees and they did okay. The biggest challenge I've faced with these lights is the battery life. I highly recommend getting the rechargeable ones.

I think so. It's essentially a plastic casing with a rubber seal so as long as its screwed together well, it should be fine!

I imagine so. We use them more for events if we have friends/family over and want some special lighting. They wouldn't be good everyday lighting just because they run on AA batteries. If kids play with them in the spa or we use them when guests are over then they look good and last for awhile before batteries run out.

My remote isn't working for mine. They turn on but I think they got reprogrammed when I used them next to another light that uses a remote. Any suggestions?

Bummer - my only thought would be to take out all of the batteries in both the lights and remote. Try that and see if you have any luck!

Great question! My batteries are still going strong, but I am also not using them every day. We use them in spurts. I wish I had a more solid answer for you. If I had to guess, they've been turned on a total of 30-40 hours since March.
