Well then you may not know the detail of the incident that resulted in his termination. He was released for gross misconduct for publicly abusing a senior female staffer. And that was the month after Dana had warned Dan not to cross the line after his famous "Stop the fight" outburst on live TV. He started behaving like a law unto himself, which can be problematic in the corporate world. I do agree that Dan is a valuable mind and voice in the mma media space, but he obviously doesn't play the corporate game.

I don’t know why people think Khazmat’s performance was seeing a weakness. The dude decided to go toe to toe with a guy nobody wants to do that with. Just because he wanted to. That’s like a puncher accepting Maia’s invitation into his guard. I like Khazmat, I’m pulling for Nate, but Khazmat is just to young, to strong for Nate.
@saeres92882 жыл бұрын
i think it was considered a weakness because of a lot of that fight khazmat looked like a novice. some of the shots he was telegraphing and overall making bad decisions on the feet was baffling to watch. make things worse, i seriously thought khazmat lost that fight. i remember watching that fight live and thinking "any moment now khazmat is going to sleep." also, when he did decide to wrestle, he barely got takedowns, and when he did, gilbert would just push him off. i thought the world of khazmat going into that fight, but that one fight made me question everything about him. his ground game looked ineffective, his striking was shockingly bad at times, and he gassed out bad. he did get the win though. maybe hes just a young fighter who had an off night against a more experienced burns. sad part is...pressure really is on khazmat. if he wins, he has to do it in dominating fashion over an aging and smaller diaz. if he loses or the fight stays competitive, that makes two fights in a row where khazmat looked underwhelming. next few outing from khazmat should be really telling about his future

After that Burns fight Khamzat had, I’m not convinced Colby would be evasive of him. Khamzat’s head movement is crap and he may very tire over rounds with Colby. Wrestling wise I don’t know who would be better, though it can turn into an Usman type fight Colby had where no wrestling happens. I’m hoping Nate wins, but I do question Khamzat’s stamina for 5 full rounds against top level guys. I’m bummed out that that Burns fight was only 3 rounds, but Khamzat won none the less.

@@boreduser12 Usman is a hard puncher as we’ve all seen, and Colby in the second fight showed he can recover better than many give him credit for thanks to his cardio. Colby is built for 5 rounds and that’s a factor for Khamzat who hasn’t fought a 5 round fight yet. No Casper, or whichever one claimed that Khamzat is a MW fighting at WW, this is wrong. A true MW couldn't actually make WW, he thus isn't a MW. Height doesn't determine your weight division, your body type does. If you pay close attention to Khamzat, you will notice his head isn't that large, and his torso is narrow, essentially he is built shallow, but he is just tall, he is thus ectomorphic to some degree. If you didn't know people vary in their skeletons in all directions, not just height, then you really haven't been paying attention in your time here on earth so far much at all.
@lordofthebeltsthereturnoft11272 жыл бұрын
It is crazy, I notice this also, it's like collectively UFC fans just are ridiculously uneducated to a stupid degree. Most of them even argued that Anderson Silva isn't black, but that he is Brazilian, which also was an amazing amount of stupidity, they literally don't know that nationality and race are different things, and they don't know that Brazil is full of black people, it's crazy how literally uneducated they are. And they also think that if you are a certain height, that you can automatically be a LHW or HW or something, totally ignoring if the guy is built like a rake with pencil bones.
@Last_Chance.2 жыл бұрын
khamzat is a mw fighting at ww. he is a huge ww. apparently you haven't seen him stand beside other mw. Whitaker was a champ mw but yet he used to fight at ww.
