@@lulu111_the_cool you can find a ton of lithium in the Mushroom Forests, but you can really only find nickel in the Lost River, one of the late-game areas. You can get to the Mushroom Forests pretty early though, and it's a great place to find lithium!

I remember one playthrough I got a time capsule with a knife in it(the good one) and the note said something along the lines of "this has served me well and I hope it will save your life one day", I carried that one knife with me the whole playthrough. one time I dropped it somehow, I freaked out and I spent a few mins franticly looking for it, I had no clue who it was from or the history of it but that knife had hard sentimental value. And when it came time to leave the planet I said goodbye and put that knife in a capsule with the same note as I found it, that one hit me hard, it was seriously more sadder than the cuttlefish goodbye. Sometimes I wonder if it had the same effect to someone else down the road.

They even have an annoying thing where if you kill them too late, they still explode a second after you kill them and they disappear. But yeah, I have killed my fair share of a few dozen crash fish with a knife. Many who never exploded after being killed if I did it just right.

6:40 when I hatched my first baby seamonkey he was the cutest baby boy on the planet. I loved him. I swam around with him in my arms in the alien containment. I then decided for us to go for a swim in the open sea around my base together. It hadn't even been ten seconds of him discovering he had the entire ocean to explore when a pengling ate him right out of my hands, murdering him in cold blood, leaving nothing but a small pool of green and yellow. I now have a base dedicated to my now deceased baby boy to hatch more SeaMonkeys run only by bioreactors filled with penglings. The murderer the only one to survive in its own small aquarium watching all of its siblings perish. They brought this upon themselves. But what kind of monster would put a cuddlefish in a bioreactor? Pure evil :(

A way to quickly get stuff from behind the aurora is to take your starter fire extinguisher and use it for the speed boost to avoid the leviathans attacks, it's an easy way to get blueprints quickly

Warning: spoilers I didn't have the full stasis rifle recipe my first 2 playthroughs. I scanned everything without a stasis rifle and it was SO stressful and terrifying. I felt so stupid after learning about the stasis 😂 I also remember learning that you can hatch crashfish eggs AFTER I successfully scanned a wild crashfish.

I built a base on the edge of the Grassy Plateau, next to the Dunes. There is a Reaper Leviathan that hangs out just far enough away to where it doesn't aggro on me, but I can still see and hear it. I plan on killing it with my Prawn Suit, utilizing its drill and grappling arms. Worst case, the Prawn Suit is destroyed, I have to reload my save and try again. Best case, I kill and scan it first try, without dying. I will update my progress in the future. Wish me luck Edit: HOLY SHIT, I ACTUALLY DID IT! I got the Reaper Leviathan's attention and started drilling it with my Prawn Suit as it was attacking me. As soon as it let go, I ran under my base for repairs. While I was repairing, the Reaper started attacking my Seamoth. As soon as it let go, I quickly docked my Seamoth into the Moonpool. I went back outside to finish repairs. The Reaper tried to attack me again, but was blocked by my base, I whipped out my Stasis Rifle and froze it. I then resorted to my Thermal Blade to finish the job. I am so proud of myself! I killed a Fuck-Mothering Reaper Leviathan

I also did the same to a Ghost Leviathan recently in the Lost River, my next target is a Crabsquid. I know it's a step down, but I haven't scanned one yet.

Bro, I got the prawn suit today and was testing it out. I of course did feel unstoppable, so I felt safe exploring some new areas. I was probably about 300 meters deep running around on the ocean floor when I saw a shadow in front of me. It was a reaper, but It was above me and some distance away, so I didn’t immediately scram. Keep in mind I had my headphones on with pretty loud volume. After a little bit, I had turned my back to the reaper, and he snuck up right behind me and screeched right in my ear. I jumped so bad that I almost threw my mouse off the table. Safe to say I will be avoiding those guys from now on.

The first time I saw a Reaper Leviathan I was going to an underwater cave for a distress beacon... I was in a Lead suit with rebreather and only had a knife for defense... I was in open ocean with no defense and using a Seaglide to get around. I was taking a breath when it came up to the surface and I just saw a giant neon looking fish did not think much of it went underwater and ended up swimming non stop until I got to shallow waters, That thing was terrifying, This was the first time I even knew there where larger things than the stalkers

Scariest jumpscare I’ve ever experience came from this game. I played since before even the QEP was in the game and even got to use the old terraformer for a while before it was removed. First time I played after they added the sea emperor, I was on the floater island collecting supplies and trying to find every last of the PDAs, but I was stuck with a glitch for one they had just added (it was clipped into the ground). I was looking down at my phone trying to find a quick fix when suddenly the cutscene for the first time the sea emperor talks to you just started playing. I look up after the stinger and just see this demon staring back at me with 4 blue eyes and Prey-esque figure ask “what are you?” I audibly yelled back “The hell are YOU?!”

One of the best feelings I had in gaming was when I got captivated by some new fish around 100m down. The 10 second warning hit and I knew I was absolutely fucked. Subconsciously I started to hold my breath ( no idea why I do this but it just happens ) and panic-equipped the air bladder to zip to the surface. The bubbles roared, I ascended at an incredible rate, but it was nowhere fast enough. Around 40 feet my vision blacked out. I was done for. Still holding my breath in real life, I just started to have the thought of "breath dumby" when Riley rocketed out of the water and gasped his way back to life. I subsequently started to breath again too. It was my first brush with death in the game and I had no idea that you could live a few seconds after total black out. I felt like I literally survived a near drowning accident. The creators of this game did such a great job!

1:44 honestly... dunes are great(the biome that gives this message) there are just a few reapers and the water is crystal clear so you can see them from super far away. heat vents for endless power. if you build at the southern end you're super close to grassy plateaus, blood kelp trench, grand reef AND sea treader's path. it's honestly such a great biome
