*Important*: Recently in the Subnautica Speedrunning community there has been a lot of discussion around the validity of KrazeyCane warp, the glitch we use to open the fabricator menu while in the portal cutscene. Without delving into the details about how this glitch works, it requires a certain amount of portal load time in order to be able to pull off successfully. When it was first discovered I was quick to implement it and as a result I was the first person to successfully use it in a run. However, recently it has come to light that those with faster computers than mine (which is a significant number of people) have either much more difficulty or are downright incapable of performing this glitch because their portal load times are too quick. The only solution to this would be to purposely slow down your device, but this of course comes with its own set of issues. Because of this the community has decided to disallow this glitch from any future runs. This time will remain on the leaderboard as it was set before this rule was changed, but any future runs are no longer allowed to utilize this glitch. If you are a new or current runner, do not attempt to replicate this glitch as your time will not be accepted.

@Justanotherguy Let's examine this comment for a second. Putting aside the blatantly wrong analysis of the state of the Subnautica community, (which is quite active and still regularly covered by several sizable channels) let's look at the origin of this comment in particular. This was not the first comment you left on my channel, this one came mere minutes after you left your first on my WR video, which claimed it to be "cheating". I've seen other comments with similar sentiments what has felt like a thousand times before. Despite this, "cheating" comments remain a small minority in comparison to the number supportive and positive ones, presumably because most people have realized the seemingly obvious fact that glitches and glitched runs have exisited forever and oftentimes are actually the MAIN category for speedruns. Next, I'll address your rude remark about my life choices. Now I usually try to remain somewhat humble when it comes to my accomplishments, but you've peeved me. I've currently broken the world record for this game 9 times and singlehandedly lowered it by almost 3 full minutes since I started, as a result of this I have been featured on a speedrun-dedicated channel with 300k subscribers, not to mention all the cool people I have been able to talk to over the past year. I'm quite pleased with my life choices so far, I have friends, family, strong academic performance, and promising opportunities in my future. So, who is the one without a life, is it me, or the person who decided to spend their time ignorantly degrading the achievements of a channel (multiple times) with less than a thousand subscribers? TL,DR: idc Now of course I'm (partially) joking about all this, but seriously dude, go do something more productive.
