Reaper is the scariest in my opinion because you can usually see the ghost and sea dragon leviathans whenever you visit their territory because the lost river and the lava biomes are pretty bright but the reapers live in the murkiest surface biomes with barely any shred of light while it roars In the distance closing in on you eventually eating you alive with their head mandables

I played Minecraft for a while. Still do but the server I go is shutdown atm. It's a new server and was fun but I end up calling monsters in games mobs. But that's what meant dude. As the game goes on I'd like to see the map get bigger, maybe to the point of being able to go around the whole planet but you can only really explore say a week after you hatch the eggs, makes more sense cause stuff is being cured. Opens up more places to go without worrying about infection.

That's just game lore, the reality is completely different. You can hear the one near the mountain island roaring constantly for no reason. You can also build a base by a reaper and hear them roar even though bases are counted as a different "zone" so it is impossible for the reaper to see you as you do not exist in the same zone as it.

That and when they say the gargantuan died down there. The dev's stated it back a long while ago the lost lakes would have been above the ocean bed not below. The thing would have died around then and its corpse would have moved with the tectonic shift. Edit:Thus creating the lost lakes. And what killed it? The fact it had lost its food source.

@@JackpotIsGaming in the games lore there was at some point in the planets history where the ocean was 100x more abundant with life. During that time a few Gargantuan species existed like the Skeleton we see. Even more leviathans, as they would have been the gargantuan's food source. But after the birth of the karaa virus it killed a majority of the small fish which led to mass extinction chain reaction. Thus why the Precursors tried to contain and stop it upon finding the planet. It was slowly killing the last life on the planet until the precursors released the hunters in a last ditch effort. They talk about this when explaining why the crater is one of the last few places to have life. After explaining how the karaa made the dead zone outside the crater which the ghost leviathans live in. The lore of this game gets better the more one reads. I honestly love it.

It's not so sad if you think about it. It was old because it wanted to protect her children, and now when they've finally hatched, she can finally rest. The thing is though once you get to some of the massive leviathans such as the Titan one there's no need to be scared of them because they wouldn't bother eating you. You wouldn't sustain them. They'd go for your Cyclops though

I can’t believe I learned about the game years after the release. I really love the ocean and I really love games with a hint of horror, (full-on horror games don’t usually scare me) especially when the game involves exploring the world around you. So this should’ve been something I’d seen right away. I can’t believe it. I miss the release of the one game that feels like it was made specifically for me.
