Good video. Perhaps use a monospaced font next time, though. But solid video.

how to find subnet mask from ip address?
@TheDogtag2336
@TheDogtag2336 7 жыл бұрын
the subnet mask is all the " network" bits :) so if you got a 192.168.1.0 its called a c class :) if the first octet is between 1 and 127 its called an A class which means the subnet mask is 255.0.0.0 and would be known as a /8:) if its between 128 and 191 its called an B class and the subnet mask world be 255.255.0.0/16 :) if its between 192 and 233. the subnet mask is 255.255.255.0/24 :) it gets a little harder tho since the subnet mask also can have lets sat the number 255.255.255.127 which is /25 so only the first bit in the 4th octet is maked as a subnet or a " 1" where the rest is " o" marking it as posible places for a host :) for every subnet the amount of hosts lets say in the /25 there can be 2^6 (64) host per subnet :) but there is 2^25 subnets :)
