Honestly, who cares if this sounds like NMH? Who cares if AJJ, or anyone else is starting to sound like NMH? More music that sounds like this will never be a bad thing, especially since Mangum has only written one new song since the goddamn 90's.

Same here. It's very obvious. But that doesn't mean they can't have a good album or get better. In my experience, some of the best artists start out completely copying people, and the better they copy things the better they can eventually express themselves. But as I've been listening to this, I don't know....
