Our national treasure, Ali Akbar , good American who joined in the concert for Bangladesh in 1971, alongside his brother in law, Ravi, his fellow musicians Dylan, Harrison, and others. Ali Akbar Khan spent the majority of his beautiful life in the United States of America. Praise Krishna.

I would not dare to call it a superstition but a strong belief held by some musicians. I have read from authentic source that when the brilliant sitarist pandit Nikhil Banerjee passed away untimely, Khan Saab was inconsolable and had himself lamented in his close circle that Nikhil Banerjee used to practice ragas on his sitar not at the designated hours !! I
