You can paint the bag with acrylic paint to fill in the bare spots & cove the still existing vinyl to protect it.

I think the denim jacket with the palm tree charm is from the Generation Girl Barbie line. She is just so cute and the bucket hat is so awesomely 90's. Thanks for sharing.

I had one of the 90's bath time Barbies with foam, may have even been that one lol. I begged for a photo where I am "wearing" a foam bikini in the bath and I remember my sisters saying I'd regret that photo. I went from feeling proud and pretty, to embarrassment/regret, to now finding it as a source of humor 😁

The '90's Barbie's handbag or purse is made of that pleather material which degrades and deteriorates over time. You can only do just so much to try and take care of it but eventually over time it will peel off on its own.

Kanekalon hair...its prone to breakage easier than saran, right ? A couple of my older Barbies I think have kanekalon & there's breakage through it. Not bad, but ...

Yes, Kanekalon hair is nice and soft, but it is prone to breakage over time, or if played with/brushed too much.

I use a knife and hold the end of the blade near my finger tip to limit the depth I cut through boxes. Another way of doing it.
