@@TimWendelboeCoffee Tim Team, I'm wondering if the degassing period of 2~3week you suggest is after you open the sealed bag, or is it simply after the roasting date?

@@Harry-cg5gs after the roast date. beans will degass as long as they are not in a pressurised container or frozen.I recommend keeping the bags sealed until you need to use the beans

I'm always looking forward to it. The Sudan Rume has arrived. I was pleasantly surprised by the wonderful flavor. I like it very much. Is it similar to geisha flavor? Thank you for always entertaining me.

Hello. Thanks for the kind feedback. I find the Geisha and the Sudan Rume to be similar yet a bit different when grown on this farm. Sudan Rule having a bit more spiciness to it. Yet a geisha from Panama or the Caballero family is more expressive with more citrus and jasmine flavours than the ones from Los Pirineos.

Sla 28 is amazing and hard to find only sla 28, usually they mix it now .I can't wait to try it .

I'm very sensitive to naturals (and my grinder does me no favors on this front), by the Cielito Lindo is absolutely fantastic on espresso. It must produce an interesting PSD based on its puck resistance on a manual lever-it produces a lot of resistance early on, but flow then quickly increases-but I really really love it. The Sudan Rume is unbelievable too; what a great month!

I would love if the subscription coffee also included espresso brewing hints for getting the best out of all the flavours, in terms of grinding, yield, temperature, pressure, etc. Sounds like the SL28 is a little complex, and would particularly benefit from a good dial in.
