Sydney, I would love to see you do a video on applying your eye shadow. I am 58 years old and gave up on eye shadow many, many years ago however, with all the beautiful shades they have now I would love to know exactly how to apply as you do. I could never pull off your colors of course but I sure would like to know your process. :).

A Lot of them looked like a sample you'd get from a sponsored ad online, they were tiny. Definitely didn't feel like a deluxe sample. Thanks for sharing

I think nowadays anything that comes in a foil packet or a card is considered a regular sample and anything larger than that is considered a deluxe sample. It makes sense when you consider that brands like glow recipe and Charlotte tilbury sell travel sized skincare and those are only 15 ml and go for $20-$30...even more with some of these high end brands. Really a deluxe sample just means you get to try it more than 1 time.

I got the first 2 bags. Totally different items. The black bag only had 2 items that weren’t what I considered duds. The white bag was a little better (not nearly as good as I feel yours was) but the eyeshadow I got was completely shattered. 🙄

I had to do a double take because at first your earrings look like you had colored hair tips 😅 I actually have the Purlisse blush, and even though it's tiny, it lasts a long time. It's so pigmented that you only need a small amount. I would put small dots on my cheeks then spread with either a brush or my fingers. As for the Love Craft Beauty eyeshadow trio, I'm pretty much ticked off with Ipsy. I've tried ordering that exact shade from the shop several times, but every time I get my package, either they give me the wrong shade (the black, silver and grayish one called Outta Limits) or they give me the right shade (Masquerade) but it arrives shattered. I think I got plenty of points from customer service because they kept messing up my order.

The Born Ruby Blush Drops in the first white bag is a deluxe size. They sell the 5.5ml for $15. Ciate London is going out of business. That’s why we keep getting the brand in ipsy over the last year. BLACK BAG Mask full size is 100g So in bag a sample Nue filter serum a sample lipgloss is deluxe size liquid blush I couldn’t find brand Love Craft Beauty eyeshadow is full size, usually sold in a set Basically, some things were samples but some things ( very few) were full size. Most was deluxe sized.

I think my favorite was the black bag. In terms of products inside. I agree that it felt like a lot were just regular samples and not all deluxe which they should’ve been if that’s how they were advertised. IMO Ipsy should just do away with the small regular sample sizes in both their mystery bags and glam bags, especially for what they charge now. Tyfs what came in the bags. @ it definitely is getting out of control expensive for what you receive IMO. Honestly, I believe Ipsy would better be able to retain customers and gain new ones if they left their prices alone and just continued to include the brands they already include in the boxes and bags. Bc while we see the price increase, we aren’t seeing anything different in terms of brands or products really. Maybe a one off here or there that just gets their customer excited that they are going to start featuring more high end, but then it will be the same old Ipsy for the next several months 🤷‍♀️ gives the feeling that they’re being a bit greedy
