Matthew very nice, but it’s not working for me. My platform is at least 4-5 stories high above the 2 story base. Had to use BCU extender it was so high. Does it have to be up on a huge slope to function? Trying to connect across llama lake. Both sides have BCUs and high mounted cable platforms facing each other. Inside mechanism says it’s available. It is going between some trees with line of sight clearly visible. 456M Message reads something like there is an obstruction between the two platforms. Any ideas?

Imagine cutting the trees in half. The upper part shouldn't interfere with the connection. The issue seems to lie with the lower part of the trees. It's not just the cable itself, but also the car's path. Your car needs to be able to pass freely beneath the cable without touching any tree stumps or branches. Even a small obstruction can disrupt the connection. I've also noticed that cable sag can become significant at distances over 300 meters. I have two videos showcasing cable car setups, and it might give you a better understanding of the factors involved. I believe it will help you troubleshoot the issue. PS i saw some pictures of cable cars at the Lama lake. Two floor towers almost at the edge of the lake (at the shore) and the cable car was working perfectly.
