I would love to see them build a tandem seat two seater with small baggage space to carry a small overnight bags. Single seat has no use for me. Many people would like to see a tandem seat two seater which allows you to carry your girlfriend or your flying buddy in the back seat.

What is the thrust to weight ratio? I seen one at oshkosh last year.Watching a few of the videos I see it is very sensitive. Maybe a longer wider wing to counter the swag from the v-tail and drop your stall speed. It's a pretty nice little bird.

Max gross: 1000lbs Empty weight: 500-540lbs Flight Speed: 54-300mph Fuel: 40-42gal usually jet A weighing 6.7lbs per gal so 6.7x41 It’s actually not a V tail. It’s a Y-Tail. If you look at the back beneath the V you have about a 1’ vertical rudder so it’s a Y tail. Also the stall speed is 54mph. It flys between 54-300mph. It’s very slippery, very easy to not get it slowed down. The rotate speed is 75kts just for a safety margin. It will start flying between 54-57mph. Also when you stall one it gives you a great warning it will shake and shudder for 10-20seconds prior to the uncommanded roll. I personally think it’s just perfect. Having a bigger wing would add weight. The max gross is 1000lbs when you put a adult in the seat with 41gal of fuel you are usually weighing 930-995lb I know several people that end up being 990-995lb takeoff weight so a bigger wing would add weight and defeat the purpose of the engine. It has the BRS so you have 20-30lbs take. From that.

Anyway it’s 257lbs of thrust the engine weighs 40lbs and the max gross is 1000lbs. Empty weight is about 540lbs. This has been carefully designed by Sonex. The FAA certifies it only if it’s built per the original plans sent by the manufacturer. You don’t wanna be adding bigger wings. One you would have to do all of the engineering work yourself and I knew a guy that killed his self by screwing with a mosquito helicopter. He did something ridiculous moving the horses stab. He crashed it and died. and two the manufacturer would probably have the faa certification voided immediately. It was certified and airworthiness based on the manufacturers testing. I have a mosquito xet as well and any turbine light aircraft gets treated like a large aircraft and most require a pilots license. If you get the piston aircraft in the mosquito helicopter you don’t need one. I have Fw/RW CPL CFI in rw/fw both so I went with the turbine.
