I don't know if im seeing correctly but there's a visible gap at the join of the main canopy and forward canopy frames! Holy kanolee if that's the case! Thanks Paul. One of the best Subsonex videos, and a great promo for the jet. Monet and company have done a great job, and I know it's a 'sport plane', but why there's not at least a 12" area behind the seat where you can carry a small travel bag, or optionally more fuel, (in case you want to actually go someplace), escapes my logic. The 2 seat version-now under development is disappointingly a side by side- blows the whole fighter pilot experience...

I would have thought the FADEC would have negated the need to be concerned about engine spool up/down times. Great airplane. Excellent video.
@oznerol2562 жыл бұрын
FADEC isn't magic. The turbine needs time to spool up and the FADEC can't change that. It takes over the monitoring and careful throttle control from the pilot. This reduces mental load and prevents mistakes (like moving the throttling too quickly). With the FADEC the pilot can just jam the throttle and focus on something else. The engine will spool up safely and as quickly as the turbine allows.
