I turned it off. I don’t get how people think full body is more immersive when it’s never doing what your real body is doing, it makes it obvious that it’s not you, not having a body you know where your body is in real life and nothing conflicts with that.

Already played through the Q3 version, the visuals upgrades are fantastic we really are heading towards PC quality (yes there are some elements missing but the quality is superb) just have to collect every gun now😀 Red matter 2 on the quest 3 is stunning, I'm playing that again just because it looks so good.

Hi I'm having a problem but it only seems to be affecting into the radius and for every time I open it up I'm always well my character is always crouching and well basically I'm always small so it's really hard to move around and well that's the most thing I would like to know how to fix So if anyone has any suggestions that would be great

I think you can calibrate that in the settings, there should be a setting to adjust the height. Also ensure that the game is set for standing or seated play.

It depends what you enjoy more, ITR is atmosphere and gunplay, Retribution is more arcade friendly zombie melee. Both great games.

I used to play this game on my quest 2, but the night and dark scenes feels a little dull, becouse that greys of the LCD panels. How well does it the quest 3 in the dark scenes?

Quest 3 does slightly better with contrast, but not like it has OLED's or anything.

Probably. I wanted to do a new playthrough of version 1.0, there's just a lot going on right now with the Quest 3 and game releases.

I just got a quest 3 and have played vr for about 3 years now on the quest 2 and have played though into the radius many times The quest 3 version does look outstanding but there are 2 bugs that are very annoying to me. I’ve only noticed these to bugs and I’ve only noticed them on the quest 3 the first one is sometimes when I use any light lighter,flashlight,map light, headlamp anything the sides of my screens get glitched so they are pixelated kind of like in Batman Arkham asylum when you go into the fight with scarecrow and the screen bugs out. The second one is just items falling through the ground if you can help me with the first bug I would appreciate it very much.

Tip for throwing knives if this ever gets turned into a series, if you hold trigger with a knife you will enter throwing mode just swing your hand and release trigger to throw the knife it should be much more accurate

I tried that and the knife didn't re-orient. I used to do that in Into the Radius v1, I'll try it again when I'm back in.

ITR used to be all about the knives. Then they upped the health of enemies so knives don't work as well.

@substatica IDK man, I use knives a lot and don't have any trouble throwing . In fact, you can take out mimics with knives. They stop shooting when you rush and get right up on them.

This looks WAY better than yesterday's video. I'd place it somewhere between the Quest 2 and PCVR. Still, it's a huge improve is you have a Quest 3 and no PCVR.

The trouble is that this method of recording means the game audio goes progressively out of sync due to a bug with the Quest's software. I need to go through afterwards, chop up the audio and shift it around and it's still not in sync throughout, or stop and start the recording every 5 minutes.

Question: is this update also on the quest 2 or this is directly and only on the quest 3? If it's only on the quest three I'll be sad.

There is an update to the Quest 2, but I don't think it will include the body and the other Quest 3 specific enhancements. Generally ITR brings content updates to all platforms, but for obvious reasons, some features are restricted to PCVR, or Quest 3.

Love your vids! Have you done a series with ITR on Iron Man and max difficulty? I'm not even half way thru it because it's the hardest VR game I've EVER played. Big problem is this...every time you die, you start over at VANNO with NOTHING except what you've stockpiled in VANNO and what you buy (if you have money left)!! In order to get your stuff back, you have to go find your body and recover it. And whatever killed you IS STILL THERE!! Hint...NEVER die in an anomaly! You very quickly run out of money and stuff in VANNO. I'm not even at Security level 3 yet and I'll bet there are at least 50 of my bodies laying around the map. It's unbelievably hard! Once you run out of money , you have to spend an insane amount of time scavenging and selling and very slowly building back up. It completely changed the way I played the game and I LOVE it! Anyway, would make for a very interesting series to see how you deal with the same issues! Good Luck and great work!!

I haven't done iron man or max difficulty yet. Sound painful. I am considering another ITR run though.
